OMG, excellent chapter PJ! I didn't get to read it until just now, and it was fantastic!
The love scene was beautiful. Spike is really falling in love with Buffy. And she felt something too. Why she keeps trying to deny it when his feelings are so plainly obvious, is beyond me.
And Cordelia... the ordeal the poor girl had to go through! I felt so sorry for her, and the majority of this fic I haven't thought too highly of her AT all.
The fight... you had me soooooo worried! I thought for sure that Spike would win before it began. Then I was panicking that Angelus would when Spike was fading. But then this... And he remembered what he was fighting for.... had me cheering. I was SO relieved.
The ending: I was hoping Buffy would go over there and try and make amends with Spike. But the whole Amy thing? SOOOO did not see that coming. And of course Buffy jumped to the wrong conclusion.
FABULOUS chapter sweetie, I can't wait for the next one. (I'll try not to bug you for it! lol)

Wonderful chapter PJ! I liked that Buffy is being smart about things. She's thinking, she's got a plan. I know she wants to escape and I can't blame her for wanting to considering everything that has happened, but I worry about Spike. He really has changed and I just hope she realises that before something bad happens. Intrigued to see where you'll take it from here - what will happen with Rack and his crew, and also Angelus and his plans. Beautiful work, as always. *hugs*

AWWWWW! He finally admitted it! PJ, this chapter was absolutely gorgeous. The meeting with Giles was cute and fun. The scene at the beach was beautiful. The love scene was so gentle and sweet. Buffy backing away like that... it was reminiscent of an ep of the OC! And then Spike confessing his love...

I'm a little worried about Angelus's plans - I know they can't be good. But right now I'm all happy because of this wonderful chapter.
