I love that he thought to call the police. It was so much more realistic than having him make it in time all the way from LA. And I see that the chapter after this one is the last... I think I might cry....

I am going to miss this fic sooo much. I loved checking this site for updates and seeing a new chapter of this fic. It is one of my absolute faves.
Spike was heartbreaking in this chapter. I'm glad Kathy sided with Buffy and it was good to see the family stay together without Parker - I was worried about that.
Once again, I'm gonna miss this fic terribly. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. You have a wonderful gift. I look forward to reading more of your work.

Breathtaking! The Spike/Angel fight was great - especially Spike telling Angel exactly what he thought of his gypsy curse. *That* was priceless!

*Loved* Buffy's whole "love" speech at the begining. The "Christ, he was one of them" line? OMG! I laughed out loud. What a perfect sentiment.

Forgot to tell you in my last review: I loved the John Donne poem add-in. He's one of my favs. Also, the poetry in this chapter was great and *so* appropriate.
I loved the ending. Everything just came together here. (The phone call from Angel was a nice surprise.)
