Ah they could see Xander because the portal was closed. I wonder what did it, maybe Dawn noticed something? Or she is just to ill now.
They are not home yet (Buffy, Spike, Giles and Xander). When they try to rescue Amy it will take some time too. Hopefully not too late for saving Dawn too.

Heh heh at last Kendra distracted because of Xander did keep her quiet not arguing against Buffy *gg* So she had only Giles to convince. ~ Buffy risked a lot; she is lucky she was right about the way Angelus would act, playing to be Angel. Loved the bonding between Buffy and Spike at the end of the chapter; I don't know how to describe it better. Looking forward to more!

Kind of Nice dream Spike had when he woke up (except the dusting part). Good it didn't come true with him the one being dust. Seems both of them (B&S) have trouble to kill the other.
I forgot if I know why Dalton got Ethan to give Buffy a cursed costume. But Spike got to know it (and to know of the consequences from Dru) and decided to help.

And that Xander is trying to fight against his jealousy. I feel sorry for him that he had to accept now that Jesse is truly dead for him.

Angel probably took Willow and Xander home now so they will be protected.
Ah Buffy - not easy what she is going through but she is coping.
By giving freely what the demon wanted fiercely to take, allowed her to pass beyond the earlier experience with some kind of acceptance. It returned her power and left her free to accept and love the demon as well as the man. It was right. That sums it up better than I could. :) Buffy has won.
