Oh didn't expect it! Spike went back to Buffy? I wonder what he wants. Oh sure, he wants another fighter in the war. But that won't "pay the rent" for Buffy even if she doesn't need to pay for it if she can live there. ;-)

Loved the update :) Like the shopping fun. Good to see Buffy and Harmony going along well (when it came to shopping). I liked the way Harmony acted in this chapter too. And I bet Spike will like the underwear Buffy got :)

Author's Response: Yeah, I figure Darla doesn't have much time left before she starts to look like him. She's already four hundred years old, and since the Master all ready looked that way when he turned her, that means he would have been at least 800 when Buffy fought him. But maybe I'm thiking about this too much.

The end of the fight between Riley and Buffy was unexpected, what a turn. Angelus is back at last. And it seems, very eager to fight with them now that he has his place back at Darla's sight. Unexpected turn too that Buffy left. I can understand her reason to do so even if that was just a misunderstanding because she doesn't know what Spike wants. For know she just things she's used like she was before and now she is able to do something against it.
I wonder what will happen now.
Author's Response: Thanks, glad you liked it. It was a misunderstanding that drove Buffy away, but it's also hard to have a slayer living with a bunch of vampires, I think it was inevitable that something would freak her out sooner or later.

Another unexpected turn! I didn't think that Spike would be in time to get Buffy back; but he met her again and they were talking. I looked to me as if he had convinced her. Duh.... that's bad! Spike as a prisoner. They love to get vampires chips way too much. I wonder what they'll do with him. Hopefully they'll get him back before he gets a chip. The Initiative thinks Buffy is a victim...

Buffy was right with the feeling that something could go wrong: The shopkeeper was dead. ~ In a way it's good to see Spike having this feelings; but he fights against them very hard (sympathy and concern).
Intense chapter, intense scene between Buffy and Spike, especially in the shop. Buffy is right about that thing. . A love that's only one sided isn't real love at all no matter how strong the feelings are.
Buffy learned it the hard way. Spike is running towards his own disaster (misfortune, calamity). There's nothing, as it seems, that Buffy can do about it.
As I said, intense chapter, with all the emotions. Loved it, hopefully till soon.

At last Buffy is lucky not to sleep with Parker; we know how many times he would have called her afterwards. So I don't wonder why he didn't call her now.
Did Spike kill Harmony? I've skipped the previous chapter, Buffy didn't kill her then. (Because Harm is gone now.)
Good fight; the end was unexpected for Spike. I wonder if Buffy will keep the ring now; she isn't so near to Angel in this story if I remember right.
Buffy stayed calm when Spike tried to get her angry; when he himself would have stayed calm who knows how the outcome of the fight would have been.

Oh Shanny, it was hard for her to grew up the way she did. Because she hurt her dad she never tried to hug Spike again? Poor one.

Angel coming to see the twins didn't lead to good things (at the moment). I wonder why the twins are still invisible.

Now the children are getting scared too. Feeling like being in a box? How will they get something to eat and drink there? It sounds as if they are stuck in a trap.
And in the middle of the whole mess (all of them missing the children but in their worry reacting different, like Spike starting to doubt Buffy's love for him ~ because of him being insecure?) Shanny arrives. I hope she'll hear what Buffy and Spike have to say. I bet she'll be surprise to get to know who the father of her children really is.

Old old woman with paint on her face? That sounds as if Joyce saw the First Slayer. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing yet.
That's the thing with hearing both sides, huh? Buffy thought Shanny was rejecting Spike but when I heard Shanny's thoughts it seems it was in order not to hurt him with his cross... That's the way misunderstandings are starting.
Secret is out now; I wonder how Shanny will take it. Angel being there doesn't do Buffy and Spike good. It gets Spike jealous and Angel complaining about how he and Buffy lives? Still wanting Buffy? Seems so.
Ah well; bringing them all in the bubble will solve the problem only temporarily. But if they are there they should have no other possibility and starting to talk together. Well maybe they think of something else.... (like fighting on). But how will they get out? That will make things worse I fear...

Shanny is indeed used to it, huh? Thinking that she is the source of Buffy's anger but she's wrong...
Angel is underestimating his grandchildren, especially Billy even if he had a feeling someone was walking in his mind. Because he thinks it can't be it can't be, mmmh? Oh Shanny won't be happy if Angel tells the children the truth before she can. And it sounds as if Angel will do that.
*pets Spike* There has to happen more before Spike looses his Buffy even if he fears the worst.

Seems Joyce is coming more after Spike indeed. Just as insecure as Spike ("the others like Billy more").
So still no solution...
