I' m 28, just got the exact job I've been avoiding all my life (working with my dad... but it seems OK after all... go figure!!!) and have almost finished my MBA. Been a Spuffy fan for ever, but only got addicted to fanfic in May, 2007, following a nasty break-up (guy pulled an "Angel" on me, and left me for my own good).

Desperately needed a Spike in my life, so I finally decided to give -my- Buffy one (at least to start with; if my first story works I'll try to make as many Buffys happy as possible!!! :P)

01/13/2010:I decided to de-Spuffify and self-publish the P-Series. That means that I will be taking it down from all sites, including LiveJournal. If you want a copy, just comment here with your e-mail address, and I'll send it to you. I'd never have finished that series if it weren't for you.

05/28/11: An e-publisher has asked to read the original version of the Tooth Fairy (thank you Kim for pointing me their way!!!)

Whether they decide they want to publish it or not, I will be taking it down from archives and my LJ tomorrow. As with the P-Series, I'll gladly send Spuffy copies of it to anyone who asks for it. Feel free to save it before I take it down, if you want, but please refer people who ask for copies to me; I wouldn't like it to be passed around without my knowing about it.

Summary:

Another great update! Informative but not stifling, exposing feelings and thoughts but with a few chuckle-worthy moments in for balance! I love this more and more, can't wait to see what happens when Spike actually meets his 'family' or (of course) how he and Buffy will come closer together!

Author's Response: Glad you liked! The meeting with the family will be coming soon, I swear. :) (Gah, I keep saying that to people, and yet it always seems to be still coming later. We're 7 chapters in to the SD part, and have only covered like two days of Buffy's new life. I really should have learned my lesson by now, that anything I write is about 2 to 3 times as long as I think it's going to be. Anyway, long story short, the (first) Angelus meeting is coming up, and I think the Sunnydale part is going to last much longer than 30 chapters.)

My God, you write each and every one of them perfectly!

Most writers have some characters down, and Buffy is not portrayed well as often as Spike is (cuz Spike has more things that stand out, I think) but you make her come to life!

This story becomes better and better with each chapter! The interaction of the three vampires was chillingly funny, and “It’s just so predictable. Kill a virgin, fuck a virgin, kill a virgin…” made me giggle sooo hard!

Still loving this!

Sorry it took so long for me to read it, RL is being a bitch. Loved the Spike/Buffy interaction and the reactions of her friends. Faith telling her 'it's his town' sent a chill down my spine and the last few lines made me grin!

I always write the speech part of the chapter first, sometimes not even bothering with 'he said,' 'she said,' and what they're doing as they talk until later, then I go back and put it in. Can't she be his without a mystical thing, just in the old fashioned sense of "You're mine"? :) I know it sounded a little claimy, but I thought, "I can use 'mine' if I want to, it doesn't belong only to claims. It's simple and possessive, and there's not a better way to say it." :) I thought about putting an A/N up, but so far, you're the only person who's mentioned claiming, so... I don't know.
