Summary: There’s a glitch using those Ghorah eggs as a surprising result develops from Dawns attempt to bring back her mother. Those developments both thrill and horrify Spike as the scoobies and Buffy discover the man behind the mask. Can a mothers love heal and bind or should the past be left in the grave?

Summary: A/U begining sort of with "Fool for Love" really A/U after "Into the Woods." What if Spike wasn't who he thought he was he was much more. There are those who will help him becoume what he was always meant to be including Giles but they can't be too obvious or he will ruin everything.

That was completely wonderful fic! I'm really sad to see it end so soon. I was kinda hoping to see how Spike kept Buffy from having to sacrifice herself for her sister. Author's Response: Thank you very much. We decided to end the story there. I can tell you that the solution to the Glory problem would be to have Spike or Giles kill Ben. Then Buffy wouldn't have to jump off that tower. :)
