Summary: Alternative for the disastrous birthday episode in season 6. Rather than the party that took place in season 6, it was only the Scoobies at 1630 Revello Drive that night. Dawn hadn’t made the wish to Cecily earlier in the day and it was just a visit to the school councilor. Buffy has invited Spike over for the party with plans to tell everyone about them but gets worried when he doesn’t show. Things get tenser when Xander starts going on about how he confronted Spike earlier in the day at The Magic Box in the basement.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. As said in a previous chapter, Xander called Giles in lieu of Willow. Xander\'s intentions were entirely dishonourable when he called, but I\'m still contemplating whether Giles\' intentions are of the good or the bad.
Angel found out through a vision sent to Cordy by the Powers That Be, but that will be explained in the next part.
Summary: What if Buffy and Spike had snuck off to Giles' bathroom in Something Blue for a little 'pre-maritial' activity? What if a child had been concieved? What if Dawn was just Buffy's sister but lived in LA with Hank? Find out here. Goes AU after Something Blue.
