Really liked this story and the one that is previous to this one. I do have to say one thing is that they might have to worry about the First Evil in this one if they keep Buffy from dying when Glory came around. Giles and Anya found out that the reason the First was able to get a foothold in the world was because Buffy was brought back so if she doesn't die then that should cancel that out and the First wouldn't be around or at least not as powerful or allowed to bring in those 'uber vamps' so then Spike wouldn't have to wear that horrible necklace.... LOL

I actually like pretty much all of your stories posted here. But just once I would love for Buffy to smakc Xander. He deserves it and just a nice slap that sends him across the room I would love to see that.

Author's Response: I did have her knock him across the room in 'Awakenings' and he gets kicked around a lot in 'Running Wild', though not by her. The trouble is, people get mad when I do that. :D I had someone call me a lousy writer because of what I did to him throughout 'Running Wild'.

Intersting story. Buffy needs to stop "saying how high" when Angel says "jump" Cripes he is one of the ones coming between Spike and Buffy. I haven't read the whole story yet just the first couple and the last couple posted (I know thats cheating... LOL ) Bu those two need to just leave LA and strike out on their own if they want to keep people from getting between them.

Well finally got a chance to read all that was posted last night and now today I get a nice shiney new chapter!! Yay!
Poor Buffy getting all 'snotted' on she should have tried to shake some of it off like a dog would do while she was by Angel's desk or given Angel a nice big hug.... LOL That idiot deserved it wanting her to come over there and "glare" while they were talking things out. Cripes why don't they just give her the job of changing light bulbs instead. She helps people because it is in her nature to do that not to make money off ot it and the whole Law Firm that Angel is running is evil. I don't suppose they will tell her that the Senior Partners are the ones that created that demon that tortured Spike. It seems like Angel is all worried about how things "look" or how is own image looks. If he is fighting the good fight to get some sort of reward he isn't really redeeming himself he is working toward a "prize" and not atonement for his crimes.

Lovely chapter. I was wondering when Dawn would show up. I do have to wonder if Buffy2 wrote anything about Dawn in that file. If so did it change or get "deleted" by the mojo that the monks did. I mean I am sure Buffy2 wrote about Glory so I would think there is something in there about how best to kill her. She wrote about being pulled out of heaven so I know she had to write something about how she died. Spike is right about Ben being the weak link and should be killed. I know that sounds *sorta* horrible but you have think about the billions of people in the world and then those other dimensions too. Glad the Scoobs did put up a fuss.... although Xander is still a bit annoying I suppose this goes back to when Buffy 'rejected' him and told him she doesn't think of him that way. Cripes he needs to get over it... he has pretty much ruined any relationship she has had since then except maybe Riley and I think sooner or later he would have ruined that one too. Anyway I like that Spike is finally getting some good things happening for him he deserves to be happy.

Cool update. Jeez those people need to get over that whole "he doesn't have a soul crap" yes I know this Spike does have a "soul" or what humans consider a soul. But I think he had a "demon soul" before that. I mean come on when Dru and Spike brought the Judge "back to life" one of the first things he said was that Dru & Spike 'stank of humanity and that they shared love" of soemthing close to that so Angel and his stupid "can't love you" crap is stupid. It is Angel and couldn't love without them stuffing a human soul in that body to keep the demon in check. I sometimes feel bad for that soul stuck with that demon for enternity.... kind of mean if you ask me to force a soul like that. I know that Spike has a human soul too but he earned his and I don't think his soul is suffering like Angel's that was forced on him. Besides this whole 'kill Dawn' stuff from Angel I think Buffy should have staked Angel or at least beat the crap out of him. She never does that and I think she really should for once all she does is talk and then her and Spike claim each other and then on one can do anything just once I would love for her to beat the crap out of one of those peole that is objecting and this time it is Angel and he so needs a beat down. As for Buffy getting upset about what Spike did well she has to start thnking about what she is fighting is she fighting demons or is she fighting evil?

I'd love to really kick Angel around, but the Angel fans would flay me alive, which is why I only put him down verbally. You should have seen how Xander fans protested when I dumped on Xander in 'Running Wild' - they called me a bad writer and worse! :D

Great chapter. What I never understood though was why Buffy had to jump if all it took was to stop the blood from flowing why not just stop the bleeding from Dawn? Why did she have to die to stop the blood? Wouldn't a bandage to stop the bleeding have done it? Or this time why couldn't Buffy had just cut her hand let some blood drip and then stop the bleeding? It just says to stop the blood it doesn't say anything about stopping the heart or dying.
Anyway loved the chapter. I do agree with you about Ben as well I mean he did nothing to stop Glory. He could have told them but he didn't. One of the easiest ways for evil to win is when people do nothing. That is what Ben did he did nothing to stop Glory and actually in a way helped by not speaking up which makes him almost if not more guilty because he knew what she was doing wat wrong. What bugs me though is about those beings that put Glory in this dimension.... what right did they have to put her here and expect us to keep her? She was their problem but they just shoved her onto someone else.
Anyway so glad Buffy and Spike worked things out and sent Angel packing ... idiot vamp that he is ... he needs to "grow up" plus 'ego much' thinking he knows best for people. Maybe he should "walk a mile" in Buffy's shoes just to see what it is like to have someone like himself and the others telling him what to do.

Author's Response: According to canon, only a little blood was need to open the portal, but a humongous amount to close it. Which was why Spike had to drink so much from Buffy here before he jumped.
I saw Ben as an accessory too - and accessories are just as guilty as the perpetrators. And you're absolutely right - those beings had no right to put her here.
