Ok so not Gunn, an OC. Well things continue to gain speed. I do feel bad for Buffy though, she hasn't been in contact with anyone she knows. Judging by the way she mauled Wes, she really needs that contact.

Oooo, I remember snippets of this story only so it's going to require a reread, but I did like that chapter and your cast of characters a lot.

I just need to go back and figure out what has happened in your story so far.

Nicely handled there. Sure they got rid of Glory without anyone dying, but I still found the scene tense and exciting even if the fight was pretty short. I kind of loved that it was, that's how fights are.

The real strength here though was the dialog. The voices were great. Every character, no matter how little screen time they had, sounded authentic.

The one thing I wanted to see was a little Spike Giles bonding. It's not a thing with me or anything (unlike my fictional character sweetheart, who better have her mind back by the way or i am gonna be all with the impotent rage over here) I just felt the way you wrote those two characters made them feel like they had a kind of chemistry, like they would have gotten along.

Awesome job though really.

P.S. I am of course joking about the whole Tara thing.(mostly, after all she was adorable.)

Author's Response: LOL - feel free to skip anything porny. I try to make the smut fairly integral to the story or relationship, but I\'m sure in most cases, nothing would be lost by skimming right past it going \"la, la, la\" ;)

It always irked me how they never actually planned any contingency for Glory. They just kind of reacted until the end.

This is a Proactive fic, it is also really fun to see the slight changes to the season with your fic.

I liked the work around on the whole Glory is Ben thing. She didn't exactly see the change but heard it, Buffy just kinda put two and two together. Clever stuff.

Hmmm, I had forgotten about this one, so I did a whole reread. There are some problem areas but overall this is a very fun fic.
I love a good "everybody gets their heads out of their asses" story. I especially dig them when they're done in season six. That was such a tough season to watch that reading occasionally about a little bit of fixing things can be happy-making.

I liked how the powers got involved in digging Buffy out of her grave.
I also liked the early chapter Dawn Spike and Clem Trio. I love when Dawn and Spike are all buddied up, just throw in Tara and it would have been perfect.(;

Ok, before this gets too long I'm going to end it. I enjoy the heck out of your story, and cannot wait to see where you go.

This is a nice story. Though your story didn't exactly match the description I think you have a decent ending here.

This here is really, really entertaining stuff. Almost over-dramatic in the best ways possible.
