Poor Buffy - only dreaming ;-) But it was the same dress as she wears now. The Party started good for Buffy - yet did the others things that did disturb her (in the kitchen). Buffy told Spike that it was her food - yet not Wood. Wonder if she'll say something about it.

Author's Response: In the kitchen I was trying to imply that Buffy could be herself around Spike (even if it is bitchy Buffy) but that she is too busy trying to live up to the other's expectations of her that she lets them push her around. They'd already had ample opportunity to eat - she hadn't.

Loving the story more and more. I hope these ungrateful people realize how lucky they are that Spike did this for them! Can't wait for another update.
