The dirty sex is pretty hot, but these characters all seem so hateful and unlikeable...

Author's Response: I agree, but then the world has all sorts doesn't it? I find unlikeable people more interesting, but that's just me. Remember, this story was in response to: Taboo Spuffy fic challenge. It will likely be NC-17 due to content alone. A fic that explores the Buffy/Spike/Dawn relationship. Can be AH, AU or canon (to go off canon, obviously) So naturally, I had to accomplish that by building this AU world. Here Spike is just a man used to getting whatever he wants. I mean, he's a "businessman" for god's sakes. And "businessmen" aren't morally squeamish. Absolute power corrupts and all that rot. We know people like that exist, in fact, they thrive in this world. Buffy has compromised with the fact that her husband seeks liasons outside the marriage. Again, we know women like that exist. And Dawn. Well. She's just a head over heels nineteen year old (and if this Spike has something to say her heels might be over her head) lusting after what she knows she shouldn't have. And once again, that's been known to happen, more than occasionally. Anyway, enjoy the hot dirty sex (which after all the story is about) and then lock it up in a deep dark place.
