AWWWWW PERFECT! This chapter was so heartwrenching but the end was perfect. Thank god she's back, poor thing. I'm so sad you can't post for awhile, this story is the best thing ever and it's so addictive. I know it's still gonna be rough for awhile but damn, glad she's back. Sorry about your arm, hope it gets better. But yeah, this is amazing as always. Thanks for posting it:)

Xander was hit in the side of the head but is only concerned about a bloody nose. One would presume a possible concussion ranks higher. But like the other weaknesses in the fighting, this is easily fixed. What concerns me is that quite a bit of time has passed since Buffy and William interacted last. So why is she so dependent on him? It's clearly gone beyond a simple crush but none of the steps in between are explained.

In boxing, the fighters' hands are taped and in padded gloves. This is to prevent them breaking. Because in real life, what happens when hand meets jaw is that your hand breaks and your opponent proceeds to kick you in the gut, in the head and in the nuts.

I love your unorthodox portrayal of Joyce. It's ruining me for all of the St. Joyce stories. This is a good thing since it means my expectations have been raised. There needs to be more explanation for William's feelings than that she's vulnerable, attractive and jailbait. If that's all there is to it, then that makes him a sexual predator. The reviewers who say that William should just give into his feelings or whatever just aren't thinking.

i don't know about the other readers, but i love angst, because it makes the happy endings so much sweeter, doncha think? :) Great job with this chapter. I've read teacher/student stories where they make the relationship sound like some dirty little kink when in this case and some (i said some!) real cases it's really about love. I really like how you've made this potential PWP into a wonderful AU. I find myself getting online two or three times a day to find out if there had been an update. Please update soon! P.S. Oh man oh man, Maggie Walsh is Riley's mother! Well, that was unexpected. Especially since I was imagining the stay at home type. Actually, I still can't imagine her as anything but the stay at home type even given the fact that it's Maggie, even though it makes the situation absurd. The Finn men are just too domineering. :)

That's the second time the fetus is exposed to massive doses of stress hormones. And Buffy's had the positive test results for less than a week. That baby's going to be screwed up before it's even born. :/ I also wonder what Buffy suffered through to be so infantile. I've never read an adequate explanation of that. Willow's baby-talking Buffy through her first steps :) was funny but it just rammed Buffy's infantilism home.

I finally had a chance to read this story all the way through. I love the dynamics you have between professors and students, Will and Buffy in particular. The Finn family is perfect in their detachment and Joyce, much as I usually like her, makes a good semi-villain. Excellent work. Good update. One more thing: Drusilla and Angel have been in tegrated in the perfect combination. Just wow.

Aww, it's so sad to see Will all upset and emotional for Buffy, it's so sweet. Oooh, so Willow knows. And she seems ok with it. She told Will that Buffy loves him -- I wonder if he heard... and I hope they find her soon!! Poor girl all alone. =(

Just read your story for the first time and I really liked the candence of the plot compared to other similar stories. It is a little more realistic than most, and the emotions the characters go through is very "real". Looking forward to more!

Wow - another update? Great.. Good that at last Willow found out what happened at school. Poor Bufy - she didn't have a good night, and the day didn't start good either. *g* I love Will's logic: The baby was Buffy’s and Buffy was his. Plain and simple. So if Buffy was his, the baby was his. I'm glad that Dru was able to help a bit. And Willow knows now. Well, she had to be blind not to notice it how Will was effected by what she told him (what he id hear). I still have hope for them :)

Oxygen, can't breath. HOLY SHIT Nia, that was damn incredilbe. I did not brearth through the whole story I swear. You are trying to kill me I know it. Gods help them both to find each other. I,m just loving this story. In the Series, Spike's age is obviously a fair bit more than Buffy's - looks-wise, I mean - so this relationship does not seem wrong, even though society deems it wrong. You've tempered his lust with unadulterated love and kindness and even that lust is conveyed to us by his thoughts, rather than his deeds. It might be an angsty chapter, but it is telling him things and enlightening Willow and her support - update soon, please.

Excellent chapter , angsty but containing some hopes in the end. I liked the conversation between Willow and Will , and I was glad that she understood who Buffy's boyfriend was. Beautiful moment when he's lost in the drawing. Your picture of Buffy is so sad. I hope he finds her in the next chapter.
