i am sooo loving your xander. the way he stands up for his friends and defends them is just great......and yea xander for kickin the crap out of the jerk. he deserves it and more. seems like cordelia has seen a side to xander she likes...*smiles* bet that nurse is the best.....*giggles* love this story and will and buffy at the end.....aaahhhhh...*sighs*

Loved it - no worries. The begin was cute (Buffy taliking with her baby about the name for her), Buffy getting better with her mother as it seems, then Xander stand up against Riley. And Buffy longed to see William, huh? I'm almost sure that he didn't expect that. TNX for the update :))

WOW Xander being a stand up kind of guy...did not think he had it in him. I am glad to see him kick Riley's ass. Oh pooorrrr wittle Riley might have to not to West Point, wahhh wanhhhhhhhhhh....*laughs*...Loved the baby names of possibilities. That nurse West way to take care of the injured. Will was amazing, taking a real risk holding Riley like that, hope it does not stir up too much trouble. Though as with most stories I am sure it will. Excellent chapter, moving things along here and letting us see into the characters. I think Will's faultering in his ablity to not want to "have" buffy though.

I was just wondering about this story the other day. I thought it was a great chapter. I love it when Xander is a good guy and not crushing on Buffy. I also love the way little by little Buffy is figuring out who's support she want and needs. Keep going.

I think this was another good, strong chapter. I really liked Xander's defense and the moments of surprising kindness and insight from Cordy. The one part i'm not sure about is Spike punching Riley. Whether he's buddies with the principal or not, whether the student was in the wrong or not, there would be HUGE ramifications for a teacher punching a student. I think something else could be done in its place rather than a punch...unless your plan IS for him to lose his job or be suspended as well, in which case, you're on the right path! :)

Nia, I loved this fic so far. The sensitivity is beautiful and as awful as it is to believe, the portrayal is extremely realistic. My only fear right now--despite the massive feeling of satisfaction--is that if a teacher hit a student like Will just hit Riley, his career would be over. He'd be charged with assault and be plastered all over the news. In Australia, anyway.I would assume the US--being that they sue anyone and everyone over the littles things--would be pretty much the same. So, to continue the realism, Will isn't going to get out of this very well, and Buffy's support could be very dicey. Still, this is fiction and it relies on Riley, and I am sure you have this all plotted and worked out, so I will finish with saying I will absolutely keep up with your updates from now on.

Hey! I succumbed to reading a baby fic and it is so good. This brings back horrible, painful memories actually, and I am just relieved to see Buffy with so much support, adn teacher taboos have no impact on me. Rushing off to read the next chapter.

Don't worry about the time between updates...I haven't updated since January since life is so busy. I liked this chapter and I really hope Riley loses his chance at Westpoint. His thoughts never go toward Buffy. I wonder if people will become suspicious toward Will since he is advocating for Buffy so much. I really like this story though. I like baby fics and student/teacher fics.

I ran to this site as soon as I got the email notification. Definitely good! I wonder if Riley is going to notice the growing attraction between Will and Buffy, and use it to his advantage. It's so sweet how much Will cares for her, and the little Will/Xander scene in the nurse's office was nice. =)
