Okay, in chapter 12 - how do you scramble toast?! LOL (seriously, if there's a recipe for that I'm dying to know...) *g* Anyway, this is a great story on so many levels I can't even begin to do it justice. You write well, you have a wonderful sense of humor, the characters are so vibrant and alive, and Buffy is amazing, as is Spike. Their first meeting (a few chapters back) was so funny. I can visualize Buffy doing the CD demonstration in the middle of the night. So cool. And her reaction to the Anya-tantrum breakup. Just wonderful. Keep em comin' Brat. You do good work and I look for this story in particular every time I visit this site (which is a lot). Thanks!
