This was very lovely. So well-written (save for some minor errors that would be a cinch to fix); really a delightful story. Love the sweet-with-an-edge banter they share... they really do sound like best friends. Love all the little details, like the breakfast scene at Buffy's parents house the morning after the not-a-wedding. Wish you'd have followed up more with Willow, since the last phone call we witnessed indicated she knew more about Spike's intentions for the wedding weekend than she let on; would have been nice to get more than "it's about time!" from her.

But really, such a good story. Making it a "favorite!"

This story is great, but I just have to comment... the story needs a bit of editing to fix errors, including one on this page where you use a racist slur (though many people don't know it's a racist slur). You've used "jipped," which is actually correctly spelled "gypped" and is a slur against the Gypsy people, indicating they don't deal fair. For Gypsies, this is very insulting!

Dear Jen, one more amazing story from you :) You're awesome. To tell the truth, I was kind of afraid to read this one because of the pregnancy thing.. I simply cannot stand the descriptions of Buffy getting morning sickness, going through all the "joys" of being pregnant and delivering a baby. Thank you so much for having none of that :)

Probably the best and sweetest AU fic I've ever read :) And I've read TONS! Seriously, this one kept me addicted from beginning to end, I had to go to sleep at 8AM so I could read the whole thing at once.

Impressive, all fic has been impressive .
I like seeing Angel like big brother of Buffy, he has been new and brilliant.
Spike is a mimbo, but he is charming with her, and it is seen that he wants her very much.
Buffy has fear of reaction of everyone, for her pregnancy, fortunately for her, she has Spike, his knight-errant.
I love the fic!!!
