Well, that really answered just about every unanswered question imaginable. I should think we're approaching a a pretty good Buffy/Spike moment soon, too. Everyone in that room has something to atone for, and it's amazing how keeping secrets can do so much damage to everyone. A brilliant chapter.

Excellent update. Love how Spike explained himself somewhat, but also made it know that he wasn't necessarily proud of what he'd done, but like Giles torture of Spike, he did what he did to save his sire. Also love how the others were contemplative of his explaination and actions and accepted his remorse over the events that took place in the past. Quite a telling chap for the continuous growth of Spike as worthy of Buffy's love. More please.

fist of all YAY!!!!!!! U UPDATED. im so happy that u updated and loved this chapter. i really want spi,e to clam buffy and for them to be left alone so they can talk and become close again. i love this story so much and am so happy that it was updated.i really hope that buffy doesnt leave spike and that they get together. also i hope that cordy comes back and that oz and willow are ok. i want spike and buffy to claim one another and be happy. also i think its so cool that shes getting power from him that should protect her. please update as soon as u can, i cant wiat to read wat happens next between them and the group. thanx

So it is not Buffy becoming a Slayer, it's part of the claim that Buffy did became stronger ! But Spike did get his part too. From Willow's spell? Indeed.. what happened? I see - so it is not permanent? Looking forward to the next part :)

I'm relieved that Buffy didn't freak out on Spike after she found out the information about Sarah- that would've been heartwrenching to see. Also, I like what you did with the demonic/vampiric backstory (Spike not being able to be turned into a werewolf, being weak for 3 days and strong the next three, etc). Very creative detailing, and excellent update!:)

Loved this chapter and Buffy's protectiveness over Spike. Her admitting in front of everyone she loved him was a wish come true because she should have said in Season Six . That whole catching the arrow thing had me there and Willow mentioning she could be a Slayer but then I could have sworn you said she wasn't going to be the slayer so is she going to be a vampire...love vamp Buffy. Great update so how about another one real soon
