Oh yes! Checking for updates every time you sign on is so worth it.
I about did a dance when I saw the update come on. I love the club scenes and the conversation in the car her just wanting to get out someplace and Spike not wanting her to go almost dreading being there at all. I loved how you played the scene reading it was almost like watching it play out. Great descriptions and intensity and great lines. I couldn't stop myself from laughing as Buffy just never stops daring to go against him and he's so gob-smacked and can't think of a fast enough retort before she walks off. I really loved the ally scene as well but whoa if anybody had lingering ideas as to what Spike might feel for Buffy Angel has no doubt now and being a massive jerk will so totally use it now. God! I want more to read and this was a great long chapter too. Somehow I find reading your stories one chapter is never enough. Ack! Now I have to go back and read it again it's too good not too :D

Where has this fic been all of my life!
This is just hot from page one it goes beyond being a page turner. It is like you cannot stop once you start reading it each chater is on fire and you have to jump to the next. This is intense and impressive I have never come across you before but your such a great writer. Do you mind if I beg for more?

Author's Response: Lol! I know what you mean - I really like tough Buffy, but I'm trying to stick to the fact that she's a normal human girl, and she has to develop these things. When she finally does kick butt, I think it will be even better because she earned it, and got there herself :) Thanks for the review!

Poor little light weight Buffy. Guess she really did try to not be drunk. Such an interesting atmosphere, the two sides against everybody else... And now everyone knows that they don't get along...That really could be very bad, not to mention the badness that will come when Spike lets an undrunken Buffy hear his wrath. Fabulous chapter, can't wait for the next one.

Author's Response: I never said Buffy had any experience with alcohol, lol. And the Adios is something I had the other day - hated it, but kept drinking because it was 10 bucks, lol. Yes, Spike's gonna have to do something to reassert his authority, if not with Buffy, then with the gang ;) Thanks for the review!

Liked the big update, ive really been looking forward to it and was pleased with the new chappy. Was very intense as usual and were still fuzzy on Buffys feelings about stuff which keeps the story interesting, what will she do next? cant wait to see. everything about this story is so original so please update soon and often

Author's Response: Yea, I always try to keep Buffy a little bit of a mystery, since Spike seems to be the one changing his feelings the fastest. Don't worry - by the end of everything, I'll have to have her feelings laid out plainly for the fic to work. Thanks for reviewing!

I'm glad to see an update :) Is Buffy at a changing point - getting hostile against Spike? I don' know... Well the visit of VAMPS didn't go well - first Buffy had to have her own way and then she got in trouble. Who had thought she would get drugged? And Angelus there to help? But not out of selfless reasons... Looking forward to find out what damage this little excursion will make - or not. And I'm glad you posted the chapter in one piece *smile*

Author's Response: Buffy is always changing, but this is working towards her one big change, I can tell you that. I think the Angelus thing was supposed to be creepy, because you know who he is, and he is never that nice, so there has to be another motive ;) Thanks for reviewing as usual!
