should have known it wouldn't take long for angel to show his true colors as an ass. just out of curiosity, what made buffy jumped william that way? not that i wouldn't, but she just left her husband hours before. oh well. at least he had the sense to stop it before they got freaky in the drive. please update soon. i'm really loving this story. and i can't wait to read angel's reaction when he finds out for good that sam isn't his.

Author's Response: Things have been buidling up between Buffy and William for a long time and she was seeing clearly, the differences between Angel and William...but they both knew it wasn't the right time...William just happened to be thinking a little more clearly. Oh you poor thing...I hope you're milking the illness for all it's worth and demanding lots of attention while you can! Anywho, on with the review. So I'm loving how NOT upset Sam is by her parent's splitting up; that in itself has GOT to tell Buffy something about the state of the marriage she's leaving. I wonder however how Buffy will handle the inevitable talk she's going to have to have with Sam about who William/Spike really is...I mean even though it could never change the fact that he's her biological father, to definitively answer that question Buffy would also need to figure out who he is to her. Only then could she explain what role (if any) he'll be playing in their lives, Sam's especially, from thereon in. The thing is, if the last lines of this chapter are anything to go by that's not something Buffy seems to have any kind of answers for at the moment either! Please update soon!

Author's Response: Buffy really has been kind of avoiding figuring out too much...almost as if it would be getting her hopes up....but she really does put Sam above all else so you can be sure that anything done will be what's the best for Sam :-) Thank you so much for the review!

Seems as if Sam isn't so much connected with Angel - she's a Buffy girl. And Angel never really did care for her, had the time. So her connection ist stronger to Buffy, even stronger to Spike because he has time, cares for her. Good question Joyce had: “What exactly are you and William?” I hope she'll find out. And get better soon :)

The story is great, thischapter is no exception. Don't worry so much, it's when the story really suck or get to suspenceful that people really start to write you. keep up the great work. Can't wait to read more.
