With Spike's intentions he has here I'm glad that his plans go mostly wrong :)
Spike is eager to tell himself that he feels nothing for the slayer. And yet - he's drawn to her, more then he likes to acknowlegde... That gives me hope *smile* because Spike is trying his best to kill them, huh? I hope he won't :)

I'm so intritgued! I don't know what to expect. Half of me excepts, and wants spike to start realizing his feelings for buffy and the other half really thinks he's going to kill buffy. I can't wait to see what happens!

Author's Response: Er, sorry, no. I've pretty much stuck to Buffy in this. I admit, I haven't actually ever watched Angel, so that part of the challenge is going to have to be just imagined by you, the reader. Plus, only after I started this fic did it occur to me that it is dangerously close to doing the same thing Taste of Juliet did. So, this fic is only short, and pretty much will just deal with Buffy and Spike making it to some kind of understanding. I'm sorry if this is disappointing, but like I said, I don't watch Angel so I wouldn't even know how to work it in. I hope you continue to enjoy the rest of the fic. Megan

Good to see this fic updated here, too *smile* - did I mention I loved it? I do :)) Spike is a real bonehead indeed... good that we now that Spike loves to 'dance' I hope he'll see soon that the slayer is his slayer and that he loved her *smile*

"...the turning in his stomach wasn't exactly in a way that made him sick." What an excellent turn of phrase. It sums up the confusion of sensations and emotions poor Spike is undergoing. Buffy's foreknowledge has turned his world inside out. You're doing an excellent job keeping this entertaining and in character. Buffy was so hopeful and persistent it made me cringe for her every time Spike was cruel. Having her finally stand up to Spike's stubborn denial of their destiny (which she hasn't shared with him) rang true for the character. I'm looking forward to Spike giving in to her.

The best laid plans.... poor chipped Spike. I sure hope things starting going better for this relationship soon - I'll bet Buffy is just beside herself with wondering if she's just screwing everthing up or if she can really fix it all to be better this time. look forward to the next installment and see if Spike mellows any after being fed and pamapered a bit on the slayer's lap. more please.

‘Property of the Big Bad Slayer’ - I like that ;-) But I think she may have overdone it now. I don't know when Spike will forgive her that she let him get 'chiped'. If she hadn't know it, she would have no fault. But so? Mmmm. Poor Buffy - if you would have been able to read Spike's thoughts - you'd feelm more bad as you do now. TNX for the update!

Poor, confused Spike. When will he learn that Buffy will have him whether he likes it or not? I'm enjoying this take on Season 4, especially Spike's unwilling participation in Buffy's romancing. Her mooning and make out sessions are both funny and unnerving. You're doing a great job spelling out Spike's contradictory emotions.

So Buffy feels bad now that she let Spike get that chip first... I think she's right: Spike will have the chip. It must be the first thing they got for Spike... I think Buffy didn't remember that said chip stopped working once and they (Buffy) had it to get out. Loved the idea of Buffy going in as a vamp - surprising all the soldiers when they were not able to get her stunned. And the best part - they got him out :-D

This is so GREAT! I love how confused (yet turned on) Spike is by everything Buffy is doing. It's interesting to see her try to alter things, but have things turn out the same. Looking forward to more please.
