Lol - and first I was glad about the update - and then this terrible cliffhanger :( Please update soon! It's getting interesting! Angelus has the council boy and well - catfight is a fitting name :) The fight for Spike - can't wait to know how it will end. Even if I don't know what Dru will do against the claim?

Have to watch out for Dru's claws. Those things are wicked. I hope Spike can save her. I'm glad that it seems that Spike is resisting the call from Dru to return to the mansion. I hope he stays strong for Buffy. I hope he doesn't leave. Look forward to the next update.

Ooh, Catfight! ...sorry couldn't resist. I really hope you have the oppurtunity to update faster. I was beginning to think you'd given up on the story. I love that Dru killed Miss Edith, btw. I always wondered how someone so tempermental could dote on one doll forso long. Great job!

Author's Response: Hey Aribelle, I've had exams the past two weeks which have made finding time to write a bit difficult. I should be able to update alot faster now that i have a few weeks holiday! :) Thanks for taking the time to review and i'm glad you're enjoying it so far!!

I think Spike is right. With an organization as big as the council are - there must be people that are corrupt. It's sorry to say, but it's kinda human.... I like that Giles is rethinking his believe of the council - but had he to tell Xander? I don't think (at the moment) that he'll support Buffy's relationship with Spike. Or acknowledge that there is a relationship. TNX for updating!

Ok. I know that Giles is all watcherly and everything, but does he truly believe that the council won't mind that their slayer is.... something other than a slayer and has made a dominance claim on a notorious vampire? This is coming alone real well and piqued my interest. More please.

I have reviewed before but something in this chapter has just made me your biggest fan. he was being forced to look further into the pockets of grey he had found in a black and white world. Thank God for people that make the effort to alter the predictable 'shades of grey' crap. You are doing an awesome job.

Author's Response: :) Thanks. I was actually a little unsure whether or not to put that part in for that same reason. I totally agree with the overuse and predictability of the 'shades of grey' line. Thanks for taking the time to review.

Wow ... Dru went totally freaky when she lost the familial claim. Nice work. This was an awesome chapter. It still leaves room open for a claiming/mating mark for later when Buffy and Spike get closer and really want each other in that way. The domination claim broke his link with Dru and Angelus to keep them from controlling him. Very good. Excellent way to handle everything all around. Look forward to the updates on this one always.
