I love how they are so vocal and open with each other. Buffy's doubts are kinda scary - she really doesn't have as much self-esteem as I thought. Love the update. Very hot and nicely done. more please.

I don't hate you. The way Buffy is thinking makes perfect sense. William/Spike needs to experience things so while they together he want feel like he's missing out on something. She's being smart and trying to protect her heart no matter how much she wants to be with him. I see nothing wrong with that. Its like she needs to let him go and if he comes back to her then it was meant to be. Thanks for the twist and the quick update. I can't wait for more.

I don't hate you - yet ;-) jk - I don't hate you! Oh my - that's the whole problem: Buffy thinks Spike mistake love and gratitude. Fears that he'll hurt her amd to avoid it Buffy will hurt him.. *sigh* I hope Spike can make it right.

Pretty graphic...I like it. I was too caught up in the dirty dirty to notice the chapter was shorter than all the others...lol I liked the cosmo reference...talk about the woman's bible to all things..lol Looking forward to the update and possibly Buffy's worse fears realized...bring on the angst

The summary had me a bit anxious, but Buffy's inner musing was more positive than I'd expected. She wants to protect herself, and telling William she loves him will make her feel vulnerable.

Poor Buffy, but the fact is that this is realistic, her fear I mean. Not that Spike will leave her, but that she's afraid he will. She is awfully young and insecure. Anyway, nice chapter. spuf
