I loved the line "What are you afraid of, Buffy? Heights and needles." Your dialogue is excellent, capturing the hair trigger of Spike and Buffy's volatile relationship. The misunderstandings about Riley and Drusilla are being played pitch perfect, too. I hope Riley's new squeeze is at the party, just to lay some of Spike's fears to rest. This is a lot of fun.

YES! They are talking and Spike is planning and what a great plan. Just what Buffy needs, a bit of romance from him, a bit of touchy-feely from him, then a bit of indifference just to spice everything up and make her run after and tackle him! GREAT UPDATE. More please.

nooooo!!!! why did u leave it like that? i want to see wat happens. i want to know when there going to get together and be a couple. i love this story and am so happy that u updated. i really hope that they get together soon and tell each other how they feel. please update as soon as u can im dying to read more and see wat happens next thanx. also sorry it took me so long to read and respond i was away and didnt have internet.

Wohoo!!! This is getting sooooooo good. William is going to have Buffy panting after him in no time. That last small kiss and then walking away? Sheer brilliance! Also, loved Buffy's answer when Riley asked her what she was afraid of. That had me laughing out loud.

Oh I feared it would go bad again when Riley called. Good to see it didn't. Yet - they both have to tell what they feel to make it right! But good decision for Buffy to go back to school :)
