Giles and especially Joyce giving their blessing now just feels like they put them through all that emotional turmoil and angst for nothing It is a little frustrating to read honestly Though I am so glad Spike at least said something about the fact Joyce made it worse in the beginning

While I enjoy this story, Joyce and Giles are making it hard to enjoy It was honestly revolting to read how proud of themselves they were when they are both being pretty bad parents I hope they eventually realise how wrong they have been

I have enjoyed this story so far But for the life of me, I just cannot understand how Giles, Faith and Lindsey can agree and go along with Joyce when she is so objectively wrong Yes it might be hard to be a teenage mother but without support of course it is hard Joyce is being a terrible, terrible mother and she was to both her daughters I hope Buffy does not end up forgiving her It would be so disappointing I just hope Buffy and Spike can manage to find each other again and make a life together without the interference of Joyce

Just have to add that Lindsey's accent could be called "Texan" or possibly "southern" but never mid-western. Mid-western would cover Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, etc. Those accents are wildly different from Lindsey's accent.

Compelling story so far, but a good editing would help this be a better read. Some grammar/word use issues, like a couple spots where "there" (meaning a location) was used and it should have been "their" (meaning "belonging to them"). Also, on this page, I think you meant "singlehandedly" not "soul heartedly").
