I love this story!! I don't care if it's not beta'd, I love it that much. I'm anxioiusly waiting for the rematch. I won't even care if the next chapter isn't beta'd if it's as good as this one.

I like how this played out in the chapter. Great way to boost Buffy's self-confidence. I don't know anyhing personally about burns, but the details sound very authentic. Good job.

Really interesting chapter. Why would Buffy have methadone in her house? It is not really a pain killer. It is a heroin subsitute. Oh well, I like this story please update soon.

Author's Response: It can be used as a heroin substitute, yes. But it is also for pain relief. I looked it up on a burn support website and everything! :)

Spike's out of character behavior is entertaining, and the story is moving along quickly without sacrificing emotions and plot. You're doing a good job setting the scenes and choreographing the fights, too. Buffy's injuries and treatments are graphic and her distress and emptiness are being well realized. I'm looking forward to the next confrontation with Spike.
