Loved the chapter - I got a little preview on you LJ but I didn't properly. Maybe the reason that Buffy didn't want to talk about things was because she knew she would be going? I'm not sure about that. Or: did Buffy cry because Spike said he loved her or because .. see above. Looking forward to when all will be revealed.

I'm not glad she left the way she did- but I'm glad she didn't just fall into a relationship with him. He made it perfectly clear to her that his "work" and image is more important to him than she is - so until that can be resolved I think Buffy is smart to not jump into a relationship with him. I just wish that she told him that, not left him a note. But, of course, she may be thinking she wouldn't have the strength to do what is right if she talked to him face to face. Hmmmm.....

I was going to write "The angst was all worth it!" but now I have to take it all back because now there is more angst! I'm so confused, I thought she was going to stay with him. Now I'm disheartened and depressed. I was so ready for them to finally be together again. The love scene was so romantic. Sigh! Now I'm gonna have to read Addie's Need again to cheer me up. I'll be waiting anxiously for the next chapter.

Wha?!!! She ca... he'll go... who's she... WTF! She said she loves him. He's given up the bad boy stuff like she asked. Just how dumb can this woman get?! I know that she and Giles had a cryptic talk right at the end of last chapter, but surely Spike means more to her than a note saying lord know what. Why on earth couldn't she say whatever she wrote in the note to his face?
