OH gosh! i just loved this chapter! it was just so awesome! the whole comfort thing and the reaction of spike to knowing it was his kid and oh goodness! i love it *does snoopy dance* this is just awesome loved it! and the whole revenge thing it's awesome that it looks like spike is going to get in it with Angel! i'm so excited! Spike's reaction was all I thought it would be and more. Didn't expect him to think it was Angelus' baby, especially after he admitted to himself that she still loved him. Lord, I wouldn't want to be in Angelus' shoes right about now.

This chapter was awesome. I never even thought that Spike wouldn't think the baby was his. There were so many emotions between them in this chapter - I loved when she started crying in his arms after she punched him. Absolutely loved it. I hope I can last this week while your on vacation - I may have to go back and reread the whole thing again.

How is possible that the UST keeps getting better and better? By all accounts it shouldn't since they already had sex, but nope, it's right there raging. It was was sweet and tense all at the same time. I do hope that Spike kicks some major Angel ass. But it would be even better if Buffy kicked his ass. Can't wait for the Spuffy lovin'.

This is your best fic to date. Constant tension. Ever present UST. A powerfully twisted plot and you've ensure that it's not just Buffy and Spike who have substance here. Giles, Ethan and Angel are solid players in the tale. The pace is just right and the Spike / Buffy dialogue is hot. Love it!

Oh my.......so lovely that Spike never questioned her claim the baby was his.....that was sweet and shows deep down he trusts her.......I'm also happy to see Buffy doing a good job at self reflection, she's rigth she was not ready to such a big next assignment.....the next is to admit she does need help at times......and if I had to pick who is best apt to take down Angel....it's Spike......he has no rules to follow...that we know ot that is....hmmmm. Go Spike.....
