Thanx so much for emailing me to let me know it was up, i would have read sooner but i was away for a few days. I love this fic. I hate Harm, which is how it should be, I hate Parker, again how it should be and i dislike/love Spike which is how it should be so good for you, great job!!! I cant wait for the next chapter, i wonder if Spike'll find out what Harm said to buffy and finally dump her.....well i'll find out eventually. I like the little insight as to why Buffy is the way she is. Good ole Parker. As for Spike, now I don't feel like he deserved that soda in the face as much. He was a jerk, but he's getting better.

Author's Response: I thought it was necessary to explain a bit about her background with guys, especially after what Spike said to her in chapter 1 about sleeping with a guy and everyone finding out. And yes, Spike's getting better... for now

I didn't expect him (Spike giving Buffy the book) to do that - but neither did Buffy. But it was a good decision. About the running into Harmony and Cordeila and them being rude - I can totally understand that Buffy is hurted. People like Harmony and Cordelia - you meet them eveywhere... mean people.

Take that, Spike! Loving this story. Can't wait for more. One little thing though- just a little thing I noticed. When one character is speaking, and another character reacts prior to speaking, that reaction is customarily attached to the second characters verbal response. I've only seen it a couple times in the two chapters, but I don't know. It's the English student in me. Ignore this if you want.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you like it! As for the reactions and what-not, one of my professors taught me last year that it's okay to split it up like that if you want to express things differently before and after dialogue or if it makes more sense there... or if the character stops smiling or whatever they were doing LOL But thank you for pointing that out- the English major in me catches stuff, too, no worries:)
