I feel horrible for thinking this, but I actually want Joni's biological parents to die. Otherwise Buffy and Spike won't be able to raise her. I'm an evil person.

Author's Response: Would I set them up and *not* knock them down? Of course I'll let Buffy and Spike raise her. Angel isn't known for self-control. ;-)

Time was elastic and changeable Yeah - that gives me hope after reading that both Buffy and Spike died. So in 2030 Angel regrets.. Looking forward to read on how all of this can be fixed.

Thanks for clearing up the misconceptions I made on my last review about Holland, the amulet and the spell activating the entire Slayer line. You really opened my eyes about things. I really liked the upbeat feel of this chapter. Can't wait to find out isn't in the cemetery anymore in 2030. Great story i'm really enjoying it!

Author's Response: No problem! Have you figured out who the "Savior" is yet? I gave a *big* hint a few chapters ago. (I might have been too obvious, I don't know.) ;-)

The thought of Buffy dying (and later on Spike dying) still makes me sad. I hope the other Buffy and Spike can make sure that neither Buffy nor Spike have to die in the future.

Author's Response: Once Spike puts the pieces together things will be fine. Spike is a little quicker on the draw than Angel is, so, no worries.

Okay i'm trying to grasp things here. Because of Willow's spell The Home Office created Lace to restore the natural order of the Slayer line? But didn't the spell that activated the Potentials come with the amulet? Why would they give away the spell in first place. Maybe i'm wrong. All this gets me curious as to who the destoyer and who the savior the Higher Being in "Prayers" was referring to. LOL... I think i'm thinking too much. Well like i've said before i'm really enjoying the story.

Interesting chapter! Sheds a whole new light on Spike's insanity and even his eventually becoming a ghost. It makes more sense for Holland to be behind the amulet than Lindsey. I'm wondering if Joni was the Slayer the oracle was referring to? I'm guessing Holland doesn't know Joni visited her Daddy and that White Buffy is in the mix. Looking forward to more!

Author's Response: My thoughts exactly. ME had a bad habit of not explaining things well, so this is what I came up with. My thinking is that "White Buffy" and Joni would be the only ones that could pull Spike out of his insanity as quickly as he seemed to on the show. So, stay with me.

Author's Response: Nope. Since the Interregnum is without time, "White Buffy" the Buffy from the episode, "Selfless" can appear wherever and whenever she needs to.

I'm glad Giles did resist Angelus' wish to infect Buffy. (because I'm not sure it will help.) The tissue warning was right. The chapter made me teary. I hope they'll find a cure. Really, I do.

You did a great job with this chapter. I really felt Joni's pain watching her Daddy fade away. I'm never fond of seeing Spike suffer so this was a hard read for me. "Lace" is a horrible disease I had no idea it was that bad. Can't wait to find out what happens next!
