I'm so thrilled you're doing this sequel. I loved Ain't No Sunshine, and so far this story looks to be even better. I'll admit that I'm really hoping for some flashbacks so we can see what went wrong. And I'll admit, I'm a sucker for the angsty breakup (so long as I know there's a reconciliation in the future, that is). Great job!

I must say reading how much Spike loves Fred and having a semi-graphic reference to the sex between is really not my cup of tea.

Author's Response: Sorry, but Spike's feelings and POV needed to be established in the beginning of the story. I do promise that will be no graphic sex scenes between the Spike and Fred.

Oh the pain...the pain. Spike and Fred. Not that I don't like Fred but I'm a Spuffy fan. It was enough of a shock to learn they were engaged but when he made the comment about her wrapping her legs around him, I got this image in my head and it was just too much...lol. Was I correct in reading that Fred is Captain Robert's daughter...not good. Can you say work-related problems? Now Buffy and Spike are going to be thrusted together. I'm quite happy about that which means bye..bye...Fred. It's over...right? Please don't disappointment me. Thanks for the update and I hope this is a sign that my other favorite stories of yours will be updated too. My fingers are crossed :)

Author's Response: Sorry for the squicks. And no, Fred isn't Captain Roberts daughter. He just has a daughter. Well, it's a spuffy fic so eventually I'm sure Buffy will rid Spike's mind of all thoughts of her. Will that work?

Hey Fred is okay, maybe bring in someone like Wes to keep her company? I like Kate attitude about bumps in the road. Butfy deserved to date all of WA, she needed to find herself before she committed to one person. Great direction you are going with this story. Hope to see update next week.

OMG wat the hell spike and buffy belong together, he shouldnt be engaged to fred, i love fred but they arent ment to be. he should of just known that she wanted to try sopomething new and that she would date, he should of stayed single or at least not in any serious relationship. i LOVE this story andim so happy that u updated. i thought it was so cute that spike was so worried about her wen the shots were fired and that he was scared that she was almost hit. also i love that there going to be living near/with each other, i hope that it brings them together again. please update as soon as u can, i cant wiat to read wat happens next and see the relationship evolve. thanx

Wonderful chapter. I was on the edge of my seat during the shootout. Will be interesting to see how their relationship develops now that Buffy is am independent woman and Spike's (seemingly) moved on.

i reviewed before but just incase here it is again. OMG im so happy that theres a sequel i always thought that there should of been and now there is. i cant believe that spike married fred, wtf he was suppose to wait for buffy but no he cant even do that, im really mad at him for that. i hope to find out why he did soon so then i can think of him and buffy getting back together. also i loved that u added cassie newton into your story, i loved her in the show and hope that she doesnt get hurt in this story. i really hope that they find out wat luke did before he hurts anyone. please update as soon as u can, i love this story so far and cant wait to read the next update. thanx
