Great story, Alli! Sorry it took me so long to read it, but I'm so glad I finally did :) It was really cute and I loved that you were able to put Buffy and Spike into a plot about desserts - mmm yum. You did a great job, despite your feelings about writing it towards the end ;)

The end the end? or just the end of this chapter?! Please let it just be the end of this chapter! Ótherwose it is a very tame ending....

Author's Response: LIke I said in the A/N, that was the epilogue. Chapter 17 would've been a fairly good ending in itself, but to keep people from freaking out that it was suddenly over the other day, I opted to write the epilogue to answer some final questions about things (the restaurant, pastry shop, etc). Besides, the fic was pretty tame- a weird or overly-done epilogue would undoubtedly ruin the dynamic of the story. I hope you liked it, otherwise

Very sweet. I like the ending... although I have to complain about something. Who would even joke about saying no to him? Silly Buffy. Just lick the chocolate off or better yet, get him to do it for you.

whoa that was a quick and abrupt end...... loved the story.. but the ending was way to sudden...... caught me off guard.... but ont he overall it was good. ;-)

Like I said in the A/N, Chapter 17 would've been a good ending point- everyone was happy, Spike and Buffy were on a good level, etc. But to keep from marking the fic as finished and not telling anyone, I opted to write the epilogue and seal off a few things (the restaurant, pastry shop, the couples, etc). Sorry if it was quick and abrupt, but the fic was calling for it (an ending)- it was at the place I wanted it to be at. I'm happy you liked the fic, though:)
