Stupid Buffy. Spike captured! Either the Immortal will hide him from Buffy, or try to get her to kill Spike because she thinks it isn't him.

At least Dawn's thinking rationally. She needs to call Buffy and have her listen to Andrew.

Sorry - but I think Spike is right with the remark he made about Angel at the begin of the chapter. Oh no.. they got Spike - the Immortal's men? I assume. Oh my - really bad timing .. Buffy is away to meet the Immortal. But maybe she'll find Spike there? We'll see. :)

Dawn's surly reaction to a hungover and blubbering Andrew was funny and in character. Poor Spike, kidnapped again, his predatory skills are sorely lacking! Can't wait to read what The Immortas in store for him and Buffy!

Gee, Buffy being irrational again. For a shape shifter to do a really good mimic, they have to have heard, seen, and smelled the person they are copying. If you want to be sure if it's Spike, ask him something only he would know, instead of running away like a dumb ass. Spike can prove he's a vampire just by bouncing off her doorway. Demons don't need an invitation.

Author's Response: Bless her, she never had much common sense, and she's in denial. To be fair, I think Spike kinda brought it on himself by faux-hunting her in a graveyard though...*giggles*

Buffy's hopeless longing for Spike was nicely written, as was Spike's assertion that Buffy really did love him there at the end of Sunnydale. The Immortal's scheme is intriguing. I can't wait to learn what he's up to and how he plans to keep Buffy from interfering.

I think Buffy's reaction is believable. I'm really enjoying this fic. Awesome job.

Oh .. she really didn't believe that this was Spike. No wonder she reacted in this way... And GIles doesn't seem to know that Spike is back :)
