I'm confused - Spike KNEW Lindsey was his??? I'll just have to reread. I love this story, though, and Spike choosing to bring Fred anyway was a real surprise.

So that's the reason Spike kept quiet - to make Buffy happy (and him unhappy). I didn't think that Spike would hire a PI to check Angel out ... everything to keep Buffy happy. Ooops! I'm putting the choice in your hands." If Buffy gets to know this - I hope she'll take it well! Maybe when all went well in the hindsight. The decision what to do or not was Angel's and Fred's. Spike did only get the ball in motion. They were the one playing. I still hope Buffy won't be too mad about it.

Wow! I was definitely not expecting that! What an awesome surprise that chapter was. I loved it! It was interesting to see how Spike did have a role in the turn of events. I hope that Buffy will be able to let go of Angel soon though, it will be nice to see them really moving forward.

Spike is right (loved the sentence) Sometimes you just have to let time take over and work it out for you. It has a way of doing that. So many wasted chances indeed. But they have now the chance to make it worth (and work). *crossing my fingers*

I love this story, it's so real. I love the pacing, not too fast, not too slow, just right. I loved that they've cleared the air and that Buffy gave William the crumb he had been looking for and is ready to move on, even if she still loves Angel (although I guess that's diminishing with each of William's gestures), by accepting to go on a date with him. Can't wait to read more!
