Thanks for clarifying the Angel/Fred situation, not that it makes his desertion any better. It just filled in the back story of their relationship. I wonder what's going to change now that Angel knows Lindsey's not his daughter. I'm sure that bit of news will send him reeling for a bit. Unfortunately, it will be more justification for his affair and desertion.

and sad—". Why do I think Buffy has used exactly this line on HIM, before?

I love the way you are interweaving the timelines to build the story. And you know I love determined!Spike. But YAY, PROGRESS!

With the age and the family comes responsibility... you have to worry more as when you're 18. And Buffy has to worry a lot. But this is perfect - Buffy has a babysitter and Spike will get to know Lindsey better. It's a good solution for them both.

Thank goodness you didn't have them jump into anything. Buffy's already confused and she and Lindsey don't need even more drama to work through. I'm enjoying the slowly building relationship, and having Spike as Lindsey's nanny will be great plot fodder.
