Okay, the lies are being aired...thank God, but how will the two of them tackle telling Lindsey...(I'm glad I'm not in their shoes)...Divorce would be a good first step to burying the dead marriage and help wipe the slate clean and give Spike the guilt free oppotunity to try and create a real place for himself in not just his child's life but Buffy's too...though I have a feeling she might try to resist a real relationship with him...probably out of a sense of guilt...though, only time and quiet persistance on Spike's part can alter that...you're brinning things realistically together and so far it's not being too easy for them...and neither should it be...not after years of decite by all adult parties...the child's welfare and emotional support should not be all these adults main focus...then and only then should they start to consider where they stand with each other...needless to say I'm loving it so far...the realistic stories always grip me...more soon, please!

Buffy just came out with it about telling Lindsey...strange...I don't think she should tell Lindsey yet...I mean don't get me wrong the child should know but I think Buffy is in the right state of mind and I think Angel should be told first if he already doesn't know but something tells me he does and knows that Spike and Buffy should be together. Another good update and thanks for posting so quickly. Now do it again...lol

OK. Progress here. Good. Buffy has been through a lot, but she's right to try to take steps on her own rather than using Spike as a fallback. But god, it must have killed him to hear her say that Angel was the one she really wanted! I kept hoping you'd add: "to maim horribly," but then, that's me. Just trying to be patient while you get these two crazy kids together. I trust you, though. Again, the quick updates are wonderful. THANK YOU.

i don't understand why buffy would let someone else be a father to lindsey anyway. maybe angel already knew that lindsey wasn't his. maybe he already knew that buffy and spike had had something going on. buffy is being very....stubborn but i understand. she's been through a lot. it's only natural for her to take blame out on spike. wonder what's gonna happen next. more flash backs? more arguing? post soon. loved it sooo much

Seems to me Buffy didn't love Spike as much as Spike loved her. Or she wouldn't have married Angel - she would have spoken to Spike. Looking forward what will happen next.

I have to tell you, I don't get why she is fighting him so hard. Is she in such a habit of denying her feelings for him? Did she never really have any? Or is she angry over some hurt that I don't know about. Particularly annoying Buffy in this chapter, but that's out girl. They'll bond for Lindsey's sake at first. Thanks for the quick update!
