I liked the chapter. It wasnt one of my favorites but it had convinction and the truth in it. Wich is exactly what Buffy needs. I hope she can get over this really quick! :) This is an awesome fic and I cant wait to see what you do with it! Please update soon! :) Lighter

Is Buffy dense as a post or what? But then, I've always wondered how she could resist the passionate, deeply loving man right in front of her. Not her most shining moments in this chapter, but I think she'll come around if she can stop lying to herself and others. A great update. Keep them coming, please!

Hmmm, she has nerve....unless Angel knew, she betrayed him more then he ever betrayed her by passing not just another man's child off as his, but his supposed best friend.....who had the nerve to still call him friend......not respecting Buffy very much right now. Wow, intense chapter, who I do feel sorry for is Lindsey. And how did her life get so fucked up, she cheated on her husband and has lived a lie since she conceived another man's baby and has lived a lie for over 4 years.

The plot thickens! Is the pregnancy why she went back to Angel after their affairs? This story is flowing nicely.

Knew it was comin, but i was am amzing chapter anyway. You felt all of the intensity and passion. Great job!

So it was Spike with whom Buffy slept (Spike mentioned it - Buffy cheated Angel "back"). But after that he left the city. I wonder why Buffy is so sure that Lindsey is Spike's daughter. Only if they didn't 'make up' like Buffy told Spike. And if she could do the math so could Angel. I wonder if he knew that Lindsey was Spike's.

So she lied!...well what can be said about that? In RL this would be soooo bad and would take a lot to fix...Spike had always suspected the child was his but because of his feeling for the mother he stayed away...in the long run this might not have been the best thing to do...but from his POV his hands were tied if Buffy was determined to try and make a go of her crumbling marriage with Angel...if Spike had confronted her at that point with his suspicions she probably would have just denied it, (and that would have been much worse, as he would have destroyed any chance of making Buffy face the truth at the right time) as she clung to the hope of saving what obviously (now) could not be saved...(very RL here)...and a woman in this situation is probably so whecked with guilt, not only for what she has done with her husbands friend, but because she recognized she had feeling for him too...denile is such a lovely place to dwell in, under these conditions...and sometimes, if we lie to ourselves for long enough we actually really do come to believe the lie...and live it as a truth. This is probably what Buffy has been doing...(poor thing...silly thing)...So, clearly a long way to go...to not only bring this damaged family together as a loving unit...but to have the adult parties do some serious soul searching and have them purge themselves of the lies, faults and failings they have woven around themselves in an twisted effot to protect themselves...(Oh what a tangled web we weave, when at first we begin to decieve)...long way to go and I'm sooo looking forward to the journey... more soon please
