Well, I don't see any Fred love there so I'm happy.
Now as for Faith? Can I just say puke!
I dettested Faith from day one. She was jeal;ous bitter bitch. Okay, bad past, name me one person who doesn't have some bad in their past? They don't go around fu**ing with other people's lives and happiness.
I still feel that BTVS ppointed Faith in Robin's direction to prove the point that she had not changed a bit. Faith thought that Buffy was interested in Robin, therefore, she went for him.
She would have tried it with Spike but he called her bluff and nearly beat the shit out of her. (I loved that scene in season 7 when he kicked the skank's ass and went out to find Buffy!!!)
What I don't think some people get is that when you are in love with someone, you know, really know that they love you too.
Spike doesn't need Buffy hanging all over him right now...he knows she'll come around and he's not going to screw that up!
It's insecure Faith that is causing the problems. Fred is and never was a threat, period.
Okay, rant done.

Author's Response: You are absolutey right what you said about Spike knowing Buffy will come around. Trying to put some of the 'fun' back in their relationship here. Trying to lighten it up mainly because William thinks she needs that right now.

Well Will is a sneaky devil isn't he. I love how he just slipped dinner right in there. So is BUffy going to play the 'I don't think so card' or is she gonna give in to what she really wants and let William in? You know the suspence is killing me right? LOL! I love this fic and can't wait to see what you have in store for us . Kuddos kid!

OMG. Now Buffy is pretending that her being a temporary assistant to William is the same as Dru and Fred's role as assistant - so she can pretend that William might do something with Fred because he fell in love with her? She's got a screw loose. Being a temp and being permanently employed are two different things and William has clearly said that he would not get involved with his assistant (real one) because of professional ethics. Can't believe that Buffy thinks so little of William that she would even consider him doing this let alone the lack of trust she has of his love. This girl has a lot of growing up to do.

Author's Response: She has more faith in William than even she realizes. Trust me, it'll come to light :)

Oh well, guess I'll have to get over it.

May I just say that you are becoming the queen of great chapter endings...especially when it's something William says? Because you just really, really are....

ANd in a way I'm glad Faith is in this fic the way she is...she gets Buffy thining...just hope Buffy makes up her own mind and isn't too influenced by Faith...

But dinner? I like the sound of that...and there better not be anying going on with Fred..he had enough of Fred in your other fic ;)

Buffy and William's jealous antics are charming. I loved Buffy's detailed mental diatribe about Fred, and the idea of her "knowing" Fred has a deep, evil dark side made me laugh. William's wearing her down, but she's too stubborn to acknowledge it.

I've heard of the Big O getting rid of a headache, but never just a kiss-- He MUST have the touch! Excellent update. Love how Faith hit some of the same sore spots in her ramblings. Buffy is losing it. She's hiding from him? She's mad at William because he has an assistant? She knows that Wiliam wouldn't do anything or act unprofessionally with Fred since he has made it clear in the past how he feels about that type of behavior. Yet , she tries to hurt him on purpose because she has this jealousy that is irrational. She tries to push his buttons to trigger the behavior that she was complaining about to everybody before? Definitely not stable there. Maybe William should move on to an adult woman since Buffy is content on acting like a child.

Confidence is so damn sexy, isn't it! I like this-- William has the "stones" to set her free, without checking up on her, etc. By telling her he loves her and wants all of her, he's no longer walking around on egg shells-- I love this. Last chapter's "huh?" has turned into a triumphant, "hurray, brilliant!" Love it & keep it coming!!!

This is the way Buffy tries to get her head together and decide if she loves William? She's jealous solely because William's assistant is a female. She hides from William and snaps at him when he does seek her out. Now this little game of trying to hurt him? I don't know. Maybe she is just too immature to be in any relationship, let alone one with William. Not sure why William would put up with it for very long.

Author's Response: She's jealous, and he did go caveman on her when she was doing something innocent. The chapter was meant in fun.
