OK, what the hell????? PLEASE UPDATE SOON. I love this story, but this cliffhanger is killing me. Is Spike there to turn Collin? Is he there to save him... or to pick up the pieces now that he's gone?

More soon ... please ... quickly!! Can't leave us hanging there. With Collin's death has Spike reemerged? Was Spike hidden in Collin so deeply that only when COllin's life ended was Spike brought back>? so many questions!! Look forward to more.

I like the story, but what happened b/w Ch.7 and Ch. 8? did i miss something? anyway... what a plot twist! muy excelente!

Author's Response: No, you didn't really miss anything. Chapter 7 was the dream sequence then Chapter 8 picks up in the middle of a fight sequence. Pretty much what happened was they were on routine patrol but got attacked by a huge group of vampires.

Just read all 7 chapters. This story is already 1 of my favorites. Love the premise and the pacing of it. Keep up the good work. This doesn't read like a first story.

Interesting - so Angel could smell Spike in Collin? And the demon in growing? Will a full grown demon bring Spike back? If yes what will happen to Collin? And Colling was jealous of Angel... Looking forward to more! Seems as if Buffy knows already something.

I really hope Collin can come to terms with things. I don't know if it is really Spike or somehow they are connected. But this is a wonderful story and loved how both of them can't stand peaches... I just hope that Buffy is helping him for the right reasons.

Good chapter. Your portrayal of Angel was great, very true to Angel's actual character. Would like to know if he told Buffy anything about what happened to Spike.

Great stuff. You're going to be walking a fine line here with Collin/Spike and that's really exciting. Just watch your tense. You're tending to skip a little between past and present tense. Other than that I really enjoy your writing style and will look forward to more.
