Ah - what a master stroke (pardon the pun)! It's a resolution that isn't, and even with the epilogue still to come I can just TELL we're going to be left with more questions than can be answered satisfactorily in a coda chapter. So tell us maestro - are you planning on a sequel? You KNOW you're doing something right when reviewers are anticipating your next story before you've even finished the current piece, LOL 8-D.

Oh Ethan did the spell. I hope she didn't glamor Buffy's movings too. But he didn't recognize it. But when it almost was too late he noticed. Let us hope that Marissa will be able to help again!

What a thoroughly fascinating read! 8-D And oh! Buffy's not-quite-death scene? Poignant with a capital POI. Will Marissa be able to save Buffy? Will Spike get retribution on the Master ,or meet his end at the Master's hands for his continued defiance? And even if they both survive (you KNOW that's the outcome we're all after) will Spike be able to reconcile his feelings over his actions and their near disastrous impact on Buffy with her faith in him and their relationship? Will Buffy still be so convinced or will she doubt Spike too? Will they be able to find a way of being not only vampire and slayer but also Buffy and Spike? Oh man...I soooo love it when a story leaves me with more questions than answers so kudos to you and more soon please!

I see - it was another spell the master did. I can't judge Spike: he thinks he's killing the murderer of his woman, being a vampire. Yet.. Buffy isn't dead yet. So it was a spell from the master that made Spike so strong. What is the master telling Spike now? Buffy is dead? I don't really believe him - neither did Spike.
