Yaaay you! I had ominous feelings that we might see a repeat of the Buffy/Angelus 'How did I do?' 'You were great. A real pro' scene here and we ALL know how good THAT was for Buffy's self-esteem...NOT. LOL. 8-) Still liking this immensely.

Thank you for making us privy to that bit of Spike's internal monologue (i.e. the bit where he realised he could fall for Buffy) because without it...DAMN...I'd be calling him a mimbo. I'm not sure exactly but I think this chapter is the first time he's actually given Buffy an 'adult' kiss and to go straight from there to, well, where they went without any hint of emotional investment would just SCREAM player! LOL. Thank goodness he's coming across as more intense than fickle. And oooohhhh...in the library? Nice choice of venue. Books are tres hot IMHO ~winks as she remembers how much shite she got for being a library volunteer at high school~ ;-D

LOL oh yeah...Spike's a pervy-pervert alrite (I mean really, looking down Buffy's blouse?!) but hell, I'm sure we can forgive him! ~Gives a saucy wink as her eyes glaze over and she imagines Spike wanting to 'cop-a-gander' at what she's got inside her blouse~ Good to see him put the right foot forward with Joyce, and YAAY Buffy for sufficiently regaining her composure to be able to throw out a little cheekiness of her own at the end of the chapter there. 8-)

Well that was hot! Gotta say though, Spike 'jacking off' in his car after watching a girl dancing through the window just smacks of weirdo-pervert to me, LOL!! ~Ducks as the author throws something heavy at her~ And he's a fast mover too. Here's hoping that means he simply knows what he wants and NOT that he's a playah - not that I'm a playah-hater or anything, it's just not particularly conducive to the ol' Spuffy lovin' you know? Go you! 8-)

Coolness...nice way to introduce Spike I reckon. Just how much of an age difference is there between him and Buffy I wonder? And will it matter at the end of the day? Still following 8-)

Well I'm liking the start! You've set the scene for our story, the writing flows without stumbling or alternately forcing the story along too fast to ring true, and the main players all seem to be people we could like or identify with in some way. As per usual Buffy's innate stubborness seems intact and showed itself in a couple of places in this set-up chapter (e.g. her dogged determination to get the dance routine and in hearing, though somewhat brushing off, Willow's words of warning). Will follow with interest 8-)

Some well-meaning teacher told you that punctuation and capitlizating names and sentence beginnings was irrelevant,didn't they? They were wrong. Please slow down long enough to maintain some basic grammatical structure, okay? The story idea is interesting but the grammar and punctuation is very distracting.

Author's Response: Thanks, I promise to go over and capatalise names and beginings of sentences when i get a chance!

Now that was HOT.. Glad to see the concern and care that Spike was treating Buffy with.
So I guess Faith met Spike at school and he got an invite to the party. Can't wait to see how that goes!
