It's so not fair to deny a kid friends.....this has to stop before the kid gets old enough to figure this stuff out, like she said, and think he's an awful thing. He has to be longing for a lot.

This was another good chapter, and it really moved the story along. Buffy is warming up to Spike nicely, and working together to get her story out should bring them closer still. I enjoyed Spike's heartfelt speech about Buffy's hiding from life. It felt emotionally true.

Fantasic chapter, sweethear. I followed this on ST, but I dont hit that site these days. I just love the tenderness of your Spike and the way he is trying to get Buffy to love him. Please keep up the great work, honey, even if it's just for little ole me.
