A very, very feelgood version of Buffy's return, wholly credible dialogue between he and her and the pace of their coming together just right, making that wholly credible too. Such a shame this Buffy never reared her pretty head in the Series for although it gave us fleeting moments of that girl when she covertly looked at Spike, she never fully acted upon it and as such we never enjoyed the development of passion, deep feeling and love that was so obviously needed by her and on offer, from him. Your story has righted that wrong.

that was too sweet. i always hated the way xander ragged on spike. good to know buffy stood up for spike, even if it just was a story and not how it really went. the dreams we mere mortals have.
