Wow, so powerful the emotions behind all of those one sided conversations. It was beautiful, and so very true to each character. And Spike and his flowers... such a sweet gesture. Loved it.

It's great that Spike got through to her! I couldn't imagine going through all of that. Sooner or later Buffy's going to figure out that she's more than loved by that pet vamp. :)

Wow, this must be really rough for Buffy and everybody else. I can't believe they didn't have Spike come til now. He was there when she woke up. Do they not know that?

Love this story and the development you are giving it. Too many authors rush through, but you are building it up fantastically. Can't wait for a new update. (and I don't review often, only when I feel an author truly deserves to have praises sung). Great work!

I am sooooooooooo looking forward to the next chapter. You do not know how happy I was to see someone to re-write a story with this topic. I was so disapointed when I read " Walking After Midnight", by Chelle. Spike was so vicious toward Buffy at the end. Also that story should have played out longer with Buffy needing Spike to help her, caring for needs. She should have slowly regained her felling in her legs. Probably when trying to making love to Spike, when he bathes her or getting massaged. I've been checking everyday for your next chapter. Keep up the great work.

Author's Response: Hi - I'm really glad you're enjoying the fiction; especially to favour it over a much-loved author of mine - I'm very impressed! I think I've read the fiction you spoke of, and while I didn't start this fiction with it in mind, I'm really glad you've found some peace with it as I recall being upset after reading Chelle's fic too - and in much need to a nice fic. While Abled is going to be angsty, as with all my fictions, you can rest assured it'll be a happy spuffy end!
