Excellent! I always wondered what would have happened if Soulless Spike had been Buffy's ally right from the beginning. I sincerely hope this is the beginning of a series, it deserves to be.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. Beautifully done. Excellent choice of contact between Buffy and Spike, a whisper of a kiss, a touch of the hand, ect. Not overdone and very believable. Sequel? Please?

it was wonderful. And this bit here, "An attraction that with time would bud and grow into a love that would rival all the classic lovers of history and literature. The Powers would never know what would hit them."--that sounds like there is room for a sequel that I would very much love to Read. And the way their romance was so very suttle, and just now meant for right now. It was nice This weaved very nicely into the world we knew. It was a pleasure to read, thanks for sharing.

oh gosh....that was way better than what happened on the show. you can't just leave it at that though. you are planning on writing a sequel right? Oh the begin doesn't sound good for Buffy. (Hehe Like the line about the Slayer Handbook.) Oh... Angel bit the dust eh became dust. And Dru seems to be gone too (dusted??). The damage was done when she had been dropped on her face after he'd dusted her captor. But there was no way he was going to admit to that, he liked his bits where they were. *gg* But at last Spike rescued her ;-) Love your dialog (banter); it's fun to read *gg* ~ Whot? I'm at the end of the story? I just wish I could read on *cough sequel? end cough* A good one!

very nice, i like the darker setting of your story and hope that you continue. They look like they will become a powerful duo. I don't have any sympathy for xander or giles. I'm not a scoobie fan.
