great update. of course spike is going to dance with harmony. no red blooded male is going to turn down anything thrust up into his face according to my first husband. which is why he was a first, he couldn't either,. at least spike is a teenager and can grow up. now buffy has to keep from giving in. cant wait for more. please update soon

Glad to see an update. I had a feeling Buffy would become blonde soon enough, but I wouldn't do it for a guy. It should be something that she really wants, but I'm glad because for some reason when I'm reading a story, I always picture her as a blonde even when she's not, so that would make it easier. Yeah, Spike is definitely an ass in this, but it helps knowing he wouldn't always be like that. Buffy is bound to find her way into his heart, and I'm glad for no serious Harmony drama. I really can't stand her. Anyway, good chapter, hope to see more soon=)

I really hope this story will continue because I like it.BUT do you think that a littlemore Spuffy and a little less angel/Dru (don't know the mix) willbe in order?
I know I'm a little picky butI can't help it!!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. About the character relationships... I can tell you that it'll mostly be Spuffy, but I'm not going to cut out the other relationships. If you want, you can skip those parts, but things might become confusing when D/A and B/S lives intertwine.

Ah, okay, I see it now. I wasn't sure if they were really friends. And stupid me for spelling Devon wrong...lol! He did seem like an idiot on the show, assuming that's the same guy, so I can understand him almost revealing it more than once. Again, love the story=)

Wow, Spike is really a snob in this. I'm referring to how he was with Giles and Xander, who didn't have to kiss his ass. I think it will take much to change his ways, hopefully Buffy will be just the person for the job. At least he's already starting to forget about the bet. I almost wish that Devin would have revealed the truth to Drusilla, since she seems to like Buffy. It's still weird for me to read about a decent Dru, but I think it works. I'm really enjoying this story. Can't wait for more=)

Author's Response: Yeah, Spike's a bit of a brat right now, isn't he? Well, to Giles... about the Xander thing... he wasn't really threatening Xander with anything and they ARE 'friends' in this fic. It's just that Xander was about to insult his father and his changing his entire sentence around was more of a friendly-joking kind of thing than a kissing-ass kind of thing. But i guess you can see it both ways. And Devon almost revealing the bet to Drusilla was there on purpose... it wont be the first time, either. Thanks for the review!

Oh, poor Dru, I felt so sorry for her. It must be really hard having to hide her feelings from everyone and on top of that see that.
I loved the interaction between Spike and Buffy, especially that for all the bravado he shows with everyone else, he can act tenderly towards her. Can't wait to read more of this story.

Author's Response: Thanks! Yeah, I'm sympathizing a lot with Drusilla in this story and I guess we'll see what Angel'll do. I actually haven't really thought their relationship through thoroughly... it's fun to let it go as the story goes along. Thanks for the review... and the exam... gah. I'll make it through.

It seems that despite himself..he has more than just the bet on his mind with Buffy. I have a feeling that the bet is going to rear it's ugly head and come back to bite him in the ass. Great update!

Apparently Spike has money (well his family has). But again: Money don't makes happy. ~ Bronze. :) Spike didn't recognize Buffy, huh? But he liked what he saw without thinking of the bet too :) Poor Dru.. seems as if Angel found another girl to play with.

Spike makes his first move... blocking Buffy's way :) Buffy is trying to be careful. Oh my, if Buffy gets aware that Spike did it (courting her) because of a bet, what will happen then? She'll be devastated... Buffy get help to get ready for the Bronze. I think Buffy will totally look different if they have done it. I wonder if Spike will like it ;-) I bet he will :)
