omg no! that ending. u cannot leave it at that. i gotta know! i so gotta know lol. and i loved heaton's whole speech. it was phenomenal. really well done and thought out. i loved it :) this chapter was great!

Getting the verdict (Heaton's speech) was a roller coaster ride for Buffy. I wasn't sure how it would end even if I could only hope for the best.
Things are looking definitely better now. :)

Wow, I've been looking forward to this chapter and it has been everything that I'd hoped. I've bitten my nails during the verdict, because it could've gone either way and you've kept the tension 'till the very last moment. I can't wait to see how Buffy will continue to live in this timeperiod.

And so, for the first time since she had met him, it was Buffy who turned and walked away without looking back. Same thing Angel did to Buffy when leaving her.

oooo i like that. i like that alot. that last scene w/ buffy walking away from angel. it was nice. very poetic and yet not malicious. it felt right. great chapter. looking forward to the next update

lol. love that last line by Buffy. really funny. nice scene between her and Spike. I'm glad to see her finally own up. I also really liked her speech in the courtroom it was really good :) i would leave more but i'm late for work. great job!

At first I was a bit disappointed when Spike didn't take Buffy's offer but if it got her to admit that she loves him then it was well worth the wait. I just hope that you don't make them have to wait again; not now.

wow - didn't see that ending coming. but it makes sense, in a way. and atleast she's not going into it blind or with too much hope/'the good guys always win' mentality (or something along those lines). and i like that buffy can see the pov from lucy's side. but i agree with buffy - lucy's trying to put buffy in jail. and yes, giles could be incredibly biased and a tad unfair (especially when it concerns spike), but he wasn't as 'black' as lucy wants to paint him. times were different 30 years ago ... looking forward to buffy's closing ...

Oh my, the trial will come to an end soon. Hopefully Buffy's speech will be the last bit that let her win.
Otherwise Spike will regret rejecting Buffy's offer.

this is definitely very different than the usual ... i'm looking forward to how buffy finds peace with whatever decision is made. i'm so glad we get to see grown up xander and willow. and i'm glad spike was able to find love after buffy. and as we watch this new adventure, maybe, just maybe buffy and spike will get a new beginning after all ... by the way, love the character of mya - she's such a hoot!
