Spike should have known better to run out Buffy a second time ;)
Though I understand by Buffy has difficulties to believe that Spike loves her (he managed with having his own small family quite well and living happy without Buffy). But it's better that he told her now than after the trial. They don't know how it will end and if Buffy would have believed him then.

And now it looks really, really bad for Buffy if Willow can't help.

Another awesome chapter. I'm so glad you updated. I loved how Spike finally said 'I love you' when he didn't have to worry about talking about it right then. You write his fear of rejection well. In fact, you write all the characters superbly. This feels so real. Keep up the excellent work.

It was fun when Buffy ran late (well not for her, rather bad timing). Same with Spike telling he loves her. No time to discuss this out now.
All in all it didn't went so well for Buffy. At last they aren't finished so maybe this is enough time for Willow to open the portal.

I just tore through this whole story in less than 24 hours. It's so good! Your attention to detail and the feelings of the characters is wonderful. The plot is incredibly unique. Thank you for giving me something good to read. I'm so bummed that I've caught up. I can't wait for your next update.

I rather expected Buffy to talk to Spike after the interrogation than seeing her spending one of her last the nights with Angel.
Spike talked with Angel too? Angel is right, they have to talk to one another.
Maybe Mya's plan will help.

That was one of the best fight sequences I've read in a long time. Perhaps because they were just playing, it added another level since there was no real fear, life or deathwise, just a bunch of exhiliration. Really enjoyed it.
