oh wow that really made me all teary eyed and oh thats so sad and Yeah Kennedy got slaped. i never liked her siince she got here. i hope they will figure out how to get spike back. when will Willow give Buffy the duster? i'm sure buffy would love to have it w/ her.

there is no reason why you need to justifiy your choices in story treatment to your readers, you must and should always have the needs of your story be the first consideration. I thought that the character/guilt memories are some of the strongest elements in this work, and they are the perfect way to break down the ensouled Spike and the killing of his soul. His love for Buffy and Dawn sit at the very foundation of the the "Spike Journey of Redemption" theme.

I like these last two chapeters best so far.

Author's Response: Don't worry. It is all gonna finish soon. And there is a reason for me to do this. If Spike is captured, I doubt it the bad guys will treat him well. So just keeping it real. Let's wait and see how it unfolds.
