Oooooooh an update! How wonderful!
Now then, you do love drawing out the uncertainty, don't you? I want to know what the prezzie is, I want Buffy to go and break up with Riley (he deserves that much) and I want Buffy to 'come out' with Spike to her mum, Giles and her friends. Don't want much, do I?

It was a long time ago that you updated. Please try to do it more often because I like this story and I would like to read it.

Author's Response: Yes, a very long time!! I am going to do my best to finally finish this story with one last scene in the library. But I've been thinking "this is the last chapter" since about Chapter Twenty...so you see how it goes. Still I have the best of intentions and I appreciate your extraordinary patience!! Satindoll

By pressing the button for “Random fics”, I stumbled upon this one. And I instantly loved it. Really, you had me at the first three words. I mean the title. “The Triple Fool” by John Donne is one of my favourite poems! Then the fic itself caught me, and I couldn't stop reading (which was really inconvenient since I had to be somewhere and reading made me almost 15 minutes late). When I saw that your last update actually was from this year I couldn't quite extinguish the flame of hope that perhaps you will finish this story someday, and that it hasn't gone to the grave just yet? I really, really liked it. Please don't leave me hanging?

Buffy really should stop overthinking everything and let her instinct guide her... and why should it matter whether her friends understand or not? They didn't understand Xander being with Cordy or with Anya, why should they need to uderstand Buffy's choice? They just need to accept it!
Go Buffy... go break up with Riley and then come back to Spike!

Now then, when is Buffy going to remember that she was supposed to meet Riley? She really needs to break up with him before this goes much further. Also... I want her to tell the gang and see Xander's head explode and Giles polish his glasses so hard he breaks them!

I really like that they are establishing something besides sex. Don't get me wrong sex is great but like Spike thought, no relationship can last just on sex. I can't wait for the next chapter to see who wins the race. :)
