There are a lot of grammar/spelling errors (mostly verb tense/agreement problems) in this story, so many, in fact, that I have started this fic at least 4 times before giving up in the 1st chapter because the errors made it so difficult to read. This time I pushed past that, and I'm very glad I did. You have a charming way with expressing their longing and lusting I got tears in my eyes several times. The love story is simply lovely and the smut is hot and sweet. It needs a good beta to go over it; if you're still active here, let me know, I'd love to help!

Thanks for such a nice story :) I only wish you could be a little bit kinder to Drusilla. After all, she told Spike the truth about the letter even though she completely didn't have to. Maybe she could end up with Riley - now that would be a couple ;)

What a beautiful story. I love the AU/Fantasy gere, Your story was wonderfully written. I loved the inclusion of almost the whole Sunnydale community in this fic. I think my favortie was Snyder. The UST that the main characters had was crazy! The angst and pain these characters went through only made the love story more sweet. I will be watching for more of your writings.

I admit I was a bit skeptical on how you are going to make it work especially after how Spike reacted to Buffy, but I was completely blown away with how the ending turned out! the story is amazing and I can't wait till you get back to writing those sexy fics you promised.

I adored this fic. It all came back to where it started, The treehouse. And tears. Perfect. Such a wonderful story - I got sucked into it - wonderfully written. I can't even describe how perfect the story was - had everything a fanfic needed. And of course the much needed Riley bashing. :) Can't go wrong with that. I am so glad I found this story and decided to read it. Wonderful. I can't wait to read one of your next stories.

I loved the ending... I mean....If it had to end, well then I loved the way you did it. Personally I could've read a few... dozen more chaps full of Spuffy lovin' (all in the interest of Spike being forgiven of course). Bottom line - An enjoyable read filled with hotness and Spuffy and just enough angst to keeps things interesting. I loved it. Thank you for sharing it! Enjoy your sabbatical from writing. You can't really blame spike for thinking that buffy cheated on him. Look at how he caught him. If she caught spike like that with dru she would think the same thing. so, really she had no right to be mad at him.

good story. although, there were some parts that I didn't always like. so, did spike take over the hotels.
