I'm so glad they worked that out. You really convey the difficulty in a relationship when assumptions are made and both people think their message got across correctly when it didn't.

I'm glad they got past the misunderstanding, but it's got to be bittersweet since they know how it will ultimately end.

They're wanking again! So much cuter when she says it, but at least they're living their moments together to the fullest now. Still much more to work through but I'll enjoy one of their lovely exchanges.

Buffy is just so cute and innocent in this tale (do you wanna wank with me - how adorable is that). I think they can do a bit more (if what Anya says is trus) so I'm really looking forward to how far they will try to go and still keep within the Muse Rules (although, If I were Buffy - I'd be throwing that handbook out the window as far as I could and jump Spike's bones for at least a week straight!) Then he'd have all kinds of poem writing fodder to draw from. More please. Love the story.

Phew! I'm glad they got that misunderstanding cleared up. The movie scene was charming. Buffy saying "wanking" makes me laugh every time.

Whew angst in the beginning and resolution in the end of the chapter. Gotta love that. You did a great job of these characters conveying their feelings enough to straighten thinks out. Too bad real people don't often do as well.

I didn't think that it would be easy for Spike to write, even after the walk. It didn't solve his problem. Loved Buffy's reaction; she cares more for Spike's sake than her own.
Oh and first cinema experience for Buffy. With full Dolby surround sound I guess *gg* that's indeed something new :) And Spike still can't write. It was logical that Buffy thought having contact with her again, kissing him, would solve the problem. And now Buffy was sad (and jealous too). It's good that they really talked and know now what the other feels. And Spike knows that he was wrong with presumption that she thinks he would use her. Buffy tried to follow the rules but now she knows it doesn't work for them. Looking forward to the next parts :)

I'm glad Spike and Buffy talked things out. Fantastic chapter!
